WastewaterPath is an independent educational publisher for people researching wastewater operator work. We focus on separating three things that are often collapsed into one: a state-issued credential, a facility role, and an NPDES permit.

What we publish

We organize primary-source material into plain-language explanations and authority call sheets. The state program and permitting authority remain the decision-makers.

What we do not do

WastewaterPath is not EPA, a state board, a testing provider, a utility, or a treatment facility. We do not administer exams, issue credentials, guarantee passing scores, approve experience, award CEUs, or operate a plant.

Who writes the material

The WastewaterPath editorial team applies the review process described in our editorial standards. We do not claim operator licenses or field credentials that have not been independently verified.
